All of my art has a purpose with symbolism and meaning. "Autumn Reflections" - Autumn is a time of transition when the plant kingdom begins to reserve its energy for hibernation. This image symbolizes the connection between the natural world and our own phases of life. Her hands have the healing touch, and the water provides a reflective surface to look deeper, assess if our daily habits enhance or hinder our well-being, and make the necessary changes.
This new series is different from my usual style. I'd forgotten how much I love to render long flowing hair, and my recent dive into impressionist flowers and foliage has a similar flowy vibe with some vintage art nouveau influences. I've learned some new techniques and made some new custom flowers and foliage brushes from photos of my neighbors' beautiful garden. Faces are harder to do, and the whole process takes more effort and time, but I like the challenge, at least for now!
The Photo Print is professionally printed on high-quality photo paper with vibrant colors and sharpness. It's special-ordered just for you which can take up to two weeks to receive in the US and a month or longer for international orders. This is for the photo print only and is not matted or framed.
The Stretched Canvas Print is professionally printed and has a semi-gloss laminate for protection and longevity. The sides are mirrored meaning that the image appears to extend around the edges, but the entire image is on the front. It has an installed sawtooth hanger so no need for additional framing. Ordered just for you, it can take up to two weeks to receive and might need a signature. Both the photo and canvas prints are shipped directly from the printing place to save money on shipping costs and to do my part to cut down on emissions.
